Rustam Minnikhanov: “Kazancompressormash” has found its niche

OJSC “Kazan plant of compressor engineering” is celebrating its 60-anniversary - the first compressor 2РК-1,5/220 was produced on July 17 in 1951. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in celebrations dedicated to 60-anniversary of OJSC “Kazancompressormash”. The itinerary at the plant started from sports ground. Head of Tatarstan was accompanied by RT Minister of industry and trade Ravil Zaripov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Director general of OJSC “Kazancompressormash” and ZAO “NII turbocompressor named after V.B.Shnepp” Ibragim Khisameev and other officials.
We remind that the match of football celebrities of USSR and Russia - team “Stolitsa” (Moscow) comprised of Olympic champions Losev, Gorlukovich led by Yury Gavrilov with the plant team will be held today at a sports ground.
RT President visited assembly workshop, exhibition of compressor machinery produced in Russia, and the building of plant clinic. Head of Tatarstan granted Fiat Doblo to the institution.
An official meeting dedicated to 60-anniversary of the enterprise started later on. By his words, “Kazancompressormash” is the largest enterprise in Russia producing wide range of compressor machinery for gas shrinkage. About 30 % of Russian production is the share of “Kazancompressormash”. Head of the plant stressed that lately the production volume increased three times.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted that OJSC “Kazancompressormash”. Is the oldest enterprise in Tatarstan. He told about positive impressions left after visiting the plant.
“Kazancompressormash” has found its niche though it is working under competitive market conditions”, - Rustam Minnikhanov stated. He also emphasized that in 90s it managed to keep the only one in Russia design institute in the sphere of compressor engineering - ZAO “NII turbocompressor named after V.B.Shnepp”. Thus it became possible to compete with foreign firms in the sphere of producing modern compressor machinery.
“The share of innovative production turned out by the plant makes 80 % of total production volume. A systematic consistent work is carried out here. The plant’s brand is recognized everywhere”, - Head of Tatarstan said.
Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated all employees on holiday and thanked for contribution into country’s economy. “You enhance prestige of engineering profession”, - he addressed to employees.
RT President handed state awards of RF and RT to the distinguished employees. Celebration in honor of labor families was held within the limits of ceremony.
On 9 May Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a ceremony of laying flowers to the monument “The victorious soldier” dedicated to the celebrations of the Day of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WW II) 1941-1945 and held at Arsk cemetery in Kazan.
On 8 May, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin reported that capital overhaul of social facilities is in full swing in the republic with 170 educational facilities having been included into regional and federal programmes.
On 4 May at a briefing held in the Tatarstan Government House it was told that currently there are 92 combat veterans, the last witnesses of the Great Patriotic War (WW II) of 1941-1945, living in the republic. The briefing also informed about veterans’ support measures and how the republic is planning to celebrate the Victory Day on 9 May.
The Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva told that names of 353 Heroes of the Soviet Union from Tatarstan “ are immortalized in street names, on memorials, in monuments and squares and, of course, in our memory”. “The Victory Day is the day of memory, mourning and joy. It is the event which today should be clearly understandable to all young people and younger generation of Tatarstan,” she said.
