Ceremony of keel-laying minor guided-missile ship 21631 at Gorky Zelenodolsk plant

RT Premier Ildar Khalikov took part in official ceremony of keel -laying of minor guided-missile ship 21631 at Gorky Zelenodolsk plant. The ceremony took place in workshop №18 with participation of rear admiral, Commander-in-Chief of the Caspian Fleet Sergey Alekminsky, Director general of OAO “Holding company “Ak Bars” Ivan Egorov.
Minor guided-missile ship 21631 is the second serial ship to be constructed at Gorky Zelenodolsk plant. The lead ship was laid on August 27 in 2010. The project was designed by specialists of Zelenodolsk planning and design office for Russian Navy. Such ships are designed to protect economic zone of the state.
Minor guided-missile ships 21631 are multi-purpose and belong to the class “river-sea”. Unlike its prototype (minor artillery ship 21630) this one has twice as large displacement and is provided with missile equipment. It enables making attacks by smart cruise missiles at sea and ground targets.
RT Premier Ildar Khalikov spoke to participants of the ceremony. He said in particular that he was proud of the country in which such modern and high-power ships are designed.
Within the limits of event the distinguished employees - shipbuilders, engineers and process planners were awarded with state badges, departmental prizes and honorary diplomas.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. We all remember with gratitude the outstanding philanthropists – the Akchurin brothers, the Alafuzovs, and the Ushkovs, whose good deeds and generous donations contributed to the development of culture, education, and healthcare in our republic. The glorious traditions are continued by modern philanthropists and patrons of Tatarstan.
On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”
