RT Premier Ildar Khalikov has met with CEO of JSC “RITEK” Nikolai Nikolaev. The meeting was held at RT Cabinet with participation of Deputy of RF State Duma Fatikh Sibagatullin, Aide to RT President Rinat Sabirov and other officials.
“RITEK” company is engaged in oil and gas production in Western Siberia and Tatarstan and is a part of JSC “Lukoil”. In accordance with data given by Nikolai Nikolaev last year the company produced 800 thousand tons of oil and 5 mln. cubic metres of gas.
Director-general of JSC “RITEK” informed that in 2010 the company opened in republic new oil deposit and ran the first underground pipeline at the bottom of the river. Currently a number of innovative projects are being implemented in Tatarstan. “RITEK” allocated 90 mln. roubles for Tatarstan charitable activity in 2010.
Chairman of RT government is satisfied by achieved results of “RITEK” company during the difficult 2010. He noted as well that JSC “RITEK” is the example for republican enterprises in terms of various social and charitable programs.
Ildar Khalikov emphasized that business relationships with “RITEK” help to establish contacts with “Lukoil”.
Further development of “RITEK” company in Tatarstan were discussed at the meeting. Nikolai Nikolaev suggested organizing a lecture of the President of JSC “Lukoil” Vagit Alekperov at Kazan federal university. Ildar Khalikov supported the idea. He is sure that speech of such a successful Russian businessmen will be interesting for university students.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”
