Rustam Minnikhanov opened reconstructed trunk-road in Almetievsk

Today President of Tatarstan has opened Shevchenko street after thorough overhaul. In a official ceremony took part JSC Tatneft director general Shafagat Tahautdinov, head of Almetievsk region Rishat Abubbakirov.
Shevchenko street is one main roads of Tatarstan oil capital. Before reconstruction the width of traffic way made 14-16m. During a large scale reconstruction the street was widened to 22 meters with 6 traffic lanes in two directions. Besides storm water drainage, traffic lights, street illumination, street fencing and pedestrian pavement fixing and carrying-over engineer communications have been done. Total length of reconstructed part is 2,01 km.
Cost of reconstruction works made 240 mln. roubles, financing was realized at the expense of Tatarstan budget (50%) and JSC Tatneft funds (50%).
Speaking today at the ceremony of renovated trunk-line opening, Rustam Minnikhanov noted that road repair once more showed a social orientation of Tatneft. By words of RT President, without the company’s participation the project was hardly to be feasible.
Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatneft general director Shafagat Tahautdinov and RT Minister of transport Lenar Safin handed awards to the road builders and solemnly cut a symbolic tape.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”
