President of Tatarstan visits polyclinic in Nizhnekamsk

Today President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the context of his working trip to Nizhnekamsk visited city polyclinic № 2. Head of Tatarstan was accompanied by vice premiere – RT minister of info and communication Nikolai Nikiforov, RT minister of healthcare Airat Farrakhov, head of Nizhnekamsk region Aidar Metshin.
Chief physician of Nizhnekamsk central regional multi-profile hospital Valery Ovchinikov informed on changes occurred in city healthcare. Within the optimization program instead of 15 medical institutions there left 5.
President of Tatarstan was presented the system of “electronic healthcare” in action - pilot project realized in Nizhnekamsk. Rustam Minnikhano through polyclinic terminal received a slip to see therapist.
Rustam Minnikhanov underlined that next step after introduction of electronic queue should be transferring ambulatory patient records to electronic format.
One of the main problems faced by Nizhnelamsk healthcare is lack of staff. As mayor of Nizhnekamsk Aidar Metshin told Rustam Minnikhanov service housing is provided for attracting nonresident medics to Nizhnekamsk.
Among the nearest tasks for healthcare development in the region - repair of maternity clinic. Its reconstruction is due to start within the federal program upon finishing perinatal center in Naberezhny Chelny.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. We all remember with gratitude the outstanding philanthropists – the Akchurin brothers, the Alafuzovs, and the Ushkovs, whose good deeds and generous donations contributed to the development of culture, education, and healthcare in our republic. On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”
