Rustam Minnikhanocv: "By dint of United Russia Tatarstan must fix tasks before Federal center"

Republic of Tatarstan as one of the main regions for United Russia party must use its representation in party for solving tasks at federal level. This has been stated today by RT President at United Russia primaries in Nizhnekamsk.
In his speech head of Tatarstan backed a decision by United Russia party leader Vladimir Putin on creating all-Russia people’s front. United Russia should revitalized and reinforced and all-Russia people’s front will be such a force and give additional momentum for party development", - R.N. Minnikhanov stated.
The ultimate task face by the republican leadership according to Rustam Minnikhanov is raising life quality of the population. Fro solving this task it is necessary to fill the budget with incomes.
As R. Minnikhanov mentioned the republic for recent years has seriously built up the volumes of economy. In 2010, the volumes of industrial production in Tatarstan exceeded 1 trillion roubles. This parameter will have to be reached 2 trillions by year 2016. "It means budget incomes will be doubled and our projects in education, healthcare, social protection sports and culture will get financial provision, RT President said.
Oil recovery and petrochemistry are the economy’s locomotive. The oil recovery rates need to be stabilized at least 30 million tonnes a year for the next 20 years. “Today we are in the capital of petrochemistry, not just of Tatarstan but of the country,” he stressed.
Developing the agro industrial complex was of great importance for the local economy as well, R. Minnikhanov went on to state. Setting up family farms and supporting household producers is a focus in the republic. “Supporting the village and its development ensure the preservation of the national traditions, culture and language,” he said.
“What matters most is our people,” Rustam Minnikhanov said. The education sector needs utmost attention, he enhanced. Tatarstan is running an education modernisation programme. “Highly qualified personnel are our competitive advantage,” he added.
The United Russia party is the force capable of resolving many tasks faced by Tatarstan and the country, he said. “We see Tatarstan the leader in our country,” R. Minnikhanov stressed, pledging the authorities intended to do everything possible for the republic to progress.
On 9 May Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a ceremony of laying flowers to the monument “The victorious soldier” dedicated to the celebrations of the Day of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WW II) 1941-1945 and held at Arsk cemetery in Kazan.
On 8 May, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin reported that capital overhaul of social facilities is in full swing in the republic with 170 educational facilities having been included into regional and federal programmes.
On 4 May at a briefing held in the Tatarstan Government House it was told that currently there are 92 combat veterans, the last witnesses of the Great Patriotic War (WW II) of 1941-1945, living in the republic. The briefing also informed about veterans’ support measures and how the republic is planning to celebrate the Victory Day on 9 May.
The Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva told that names of 353 Heroes of the Soviet Union from Tatarstan “ are immortalized in street names, on memorials, in monuments and squares and, of course, in our memory”. “The Victory Day is the day of memory, mourning and joy. It is the event which today should be clearly understandable to all young people and younger generation of Tatarstan,” she said.
