President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has a look at harvesting in three RT regions

Today President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has acquainted with harvesting at the fields of Nizhnekamsk, Kamsko-Ustinsky and Buinsk municipal regions.

President has been accompanied by vice RT Premiere – minister of agriculture and foodstuff Marat Akhmetov.

At the Nizhnekamsk region head of the republic examined the fields belonging to branch «Prikamsky» ООО «Soyuz-Agro» and ООО «Bahetle Agro».

Further, Rustam Minnikhanov visited Kama-Usinsky region. By data on August 3, here , it has been threshed 4,2 ths.h., average harvest yield per hectare – 26,1 centner. In total, it has been threshed 11 ths. tons of grain, including 0,9 ths. t. winter crops, 3,3 ths. t. spring crops. The agricultural space in Kamsko-Ustinsky region makes up 70,3 ths. h, inter alia е 55,1 ths. h. arable lands.

After fly around at Bolshie Burtasy village RT President met with economy executives and chiefs of rural settlements of Kamsky-Ustinsky region. Rustam Minnikhanov enquired on provision with subsidies of private households plots, obtaining credits, condition of family farms. Today three family (dairy) farms are active in Kamsky-Ustinsky region. One more family whose construction is nearing end will be engaged in fish breeding.

Chief of Kamsky-Ustinsky region Zufar Garafiev raised the question on insufficient quantity of grain combine harvesters. He informed that 38 combines are working on the region’s fields. Load per one combine makes more 500 h.

In Buinsk region RT President saw the exhibition of products made at the Buinsk machine building plant and local agro-producers. The exhibition was arranged at the field where harvesting of winter grain «Kazanskaya 560» sort is under way. Rustam Minnikhanov discussed current situation and prospects for harvest with executives of agro-industries Head of Buinsk municipal region and town Rafael Abuzyarov reported on course of harvesting campaign in the region.

«Harvesting on the republican fields is going normal, - Rustam Minnikhanov told the journalists. - In a day we will have one million tons of threshing. Now. it has been threshed about 800 ths. t. Work is arranged well, people’s mood is good and businesslike. Some regions need rains very much». By words of Rustam Minnikhanov, during the sessions in the regions such issues were discussed like development of big agro-holdings, support of private households and family farms.
