Rustam Minnikhanov: "Main aim of Tatarstan leadership is raising life standards of population"

The main criteria of Tatasrtan authorities efficiency is life standards of population and its raising is the main aim of the Republic’s leadership. This has been stated by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov at the all-people primaries of United Russia party in Muslimovo.

Head of Tatarstan highly appreciated the idea of creating All-Russia people’s front offered by United Russia leader Vladimir Putin.

"Emergence of APF will give momentum to party progressing, - R. Minnikhanov holds. –We already see what activity all-Russia People’s Front is manifesting in our republic” .

Rustam Minnikhanov considers that the main criteria fixed by the republican leadership is life quality of people. The economy, education, healthcare social protection of population culture are developing for its realization.

RT President marked that heads of the regions perceive their task in maintaining self sufficiency of Tatarstan, retaining leading positions of the republic among federation subjects. . By words of R. Minnikhanov, Тatarstan by volumes of domestic regional product holds 5-6- place in Russia, by majority of other basic parameters is also in top ten of leaders.

At the same time, by opinion of RT President, the republic should actively participate in all federal programs. "And we keep participation in them thanks to the efforts of deputies corps likewise. United Russia party is advancing all our projects, defending our interests at the federal level", - R. Minnikhanov stated.

The base of the republic’s economy for the closest year makes oil production. Rustam Minnikhanov reminded that explored oil reserves in the republic will be sufficient for 30 years on, besides, Tatarstan keeps developing oil processing and oil chemistry.

KAMAZ will remain a leader in mechanical engineering, a big project is planned to be implemented in RT by the joint venture Ford-Sollers.

As R. Minnikhanov mentioned industry development requires reliable and effective energy sector whereanent the program of modernization of existing and construction of new energy capacities has been developed in Tatarstan.

In agro-industrial complex the republic’s leadership goes on supporting major companies, but increases attention to small forms of agriculture. By opinion of Rustam Minnikhanov, private households and family farms provide employment of rural population enable to preserve village way of life. Already this year 300 new family farms will come into being, and task for the nearest years - 1000 new family farms.

In sphere of education RT leadership aspires to develop kindergartens, modernize secondary schools, raise level of higher educational institutions. "Education is a very important task and we put it as priority for ourselves ", - Rustam Minnikhanov stressed.



Head of the republic paid attention to improving environment habitation – ecology, infrastructure. Rustam Minnikhanov marked that every settlement should have the possibility going in for sports.

In healthcare, by words of Tatarstan President, the work is to be faced over improvising conditions of central regional hospitals. As Rustam Minnikhanov informed this work would become one of priorities for the republic’s leadership.
