37 sportsmen to present Republic Tatarstan in summer Universiade-2011 in Shenzhen (China)

Briefing was devoted to developing physical culture and sports in the republic in the context of forthcoming Day of physical culture held in the republic sine 1980.
By words of Halil Shaikhutdinov, today a parameter of going in for sports and physical culture as a whole in Russia makes 18,5% and Tatarstan holds 10th place among the RF subjects in this regard.
A big attention is heeded in Tatarstan to developing children-youth sports. Presently, more 98 ths. children on 67 kinds of sports are being trained at 158 children-youth sports schools including schools of Olympic reserve. This is about 25% оf total number of school year children. Only in 2011 3 sports schools have been opened in two municipal regions of the republic ( one in Arsk and two in Aznakai regions), that enabled additionally to attract 1312 children in sports.

On 28 March, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with participation of the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Azat Ziganshin informed that the regional central cleaning up action will be held in the republic on 25 April and clarified that the location of the national cleanup day will be announced later as the site will be chosen taking into account the opinions of Tatarstan residents.
On 28 March, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional and the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Damir Shaydullin informed about statistics on the collection of utility bills payments from the population and data on the payment discipline of enterprises and organizations of the republic.

On 27 March, speaking at a ceremonial event dedicated to celebrations of the Day of Russian National Guard held at the Kazan City Hall with participation of the Chief of the Office of the Staff of the Rais of the republic Asgat Safarov, heads of law-enforcement bodies of the republic and veterans and employees of the territorial Directorate of the National Guard, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian National Guard Directorate for the republic Republic of Tatarstan is traditionally acknowledged as one of the best in the country.

On 26 March Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a meeting of the Council by the Russian Presidential Envoy in the Volga Federal District dedicated to rural demographic policy held by the Russian Presidential Envoy in the District Igor Komarov in Nizhniy Novgorod with participation of heads of federal ministries concerned, representatives of the Federal Assembly and heads of federal entities of the Volga Federal District. The participants of the meeting discussed such topics as the demographic situation, implementation of federal programmes and the best regional practices, and the results of the meeting will be used for preparing comprehensive solutions of such tasks set by Russian President Vladimir Putin as preservation of the population, strengthening health, raising prosperity of people and supporting families.
