Rashid Nurgaliev has conducted a meeting with the staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan

Rashid Nurgaliev, the Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, has conducted today a meeting with the staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan. The President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has also taken part in this meeting.
Rashid Nurgaliev is conducting a business trip around the regions of the Volga Federal District in order to talk with the staff of the Internal affairs bodies regarding the reorganization of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
During his visit to IT-park, Rashid Nurgaliev has noticed different technologies that could be useful for Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In his speech to the staff of the Ministry, he has underlined the successful completion of the assessment period for the staff of internal affairs bodies.
According to R.Nurgaliev this assessment has increased the responsibility of all management staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. He also requested the assessment materials to be added to the profiles of all staff working at the ministry.
The Minister has also stressed that we should not forget about the personnel who have not passed the assessment successfully. He has said that it is our duty to help them find their working places outside system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. He noticed that more than 20 thousand people, who have not passed the assessment, had already got their new jobs. And this process should not stop.
R.Nurgaliev has also reminded that the end of the assessment period does not mean the end of the reorganization of the Ministry. “There is still a lot of work to do. It includes changing the psychology of the staff, his attitude towards the service, forming the new look of the police officer” – said the Minister.
He has stated that during the last years the police officers has lost their contact with people.
At the end of his speech Rashid Nurgaliev has reminded about the Ministry of Internal Affairs has a number of tasks at the moment. A lot of effort s should be paid to control of extremism, organized crime and corruption. But the main thing is to observe the rights and freedom of people.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
