President of Tatarstan holds session on issues of Kazan airport reconstruction

The issues of Kazan international airport reconstruction have been discussed today at the meeting of RT President Rustam Minnikhanov with Bulgarian Aviation Group top management. In the meeting held at RT Government house took part the following persons: executive director of the company Plamen Atanasov, RT first deputy minister of land and property relations Airat Nututdinov, RT vice minister of transport and road facilities Azat Galiakhmetov, other officials and Bulgarian Aviation Group representatives.
During the meeting presentation of a construction project of technical service hangar for two planes with participation of Lufthansa Technik company at the international airport Kazan was held. As Lufthansa Technik Sofia CEO Bernd Freckmann informed: “the company is ready to cooperate with air company Tatarstan and participate with investments in the project участвовать в проекте в том числе и инвестициями”.
Rustam Minnikhanov supported the proposed project. «Technical base is very important for any air company, for any airport. I hope that other air companies will use new hangar», - RT President stated and charged RT Ministry of transport to commence the work on its realization. Already tomorrow signing the agreement between air company Tatarstan and Lufthansa Technik is expected.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. We all remember with gratitude the outstanding philanthropists – the Akchurin brothers, the Alafuzovs, and the Ushkovs, whose good deeds and generous donations contributed to the development of culture, education, and healthcare in our republic. The glorious traditions are continued by modern philanthropists and patrons of Tatarstan.
On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”
