Air company Tatarstan to build hangar of technical service in Kazan jointly with Lufthansa Technik

Hangar of technical service for passenger planes will be built in Kazan international airport by air company Tatarstan jointly with Lufthansa Technik. company. The agreement on cooperation has been signed today at the RT Government House with presence of Tatarstan Premiere Ildar Khalikov.
Opening the meeting preceding agreement signing, head of RT Government thanked Lufthansa Technik company for decision on cooperation with Tatartsan air company. Ildar Khalikov mentioned that transport issues in RT gain more actuality as with upcoming large scale sports competitions so on reason of developing foreign economic relations of Tatarstan business.
I. Khalikov informed that one of the most important stages in progressing transport infrastructure of Tatarstan is reconstruction of Kazan international airport. The airport is constructing new terminal 1А, business terminal is nearing the end, reconstruction of existing terminal 1 is being prepared. For already a month the works are under way on improving plate structures including landing strip, railway line from Kazan to the airport is under construction. Erection of hangar of technical service by opinion of Ildar Khalikov becomes one more step in airport development.
At the same time, by words of RT Prime minister, the air company Tatrstan is progressing. The company has held for recent years a serious modernization of its fleet. «We see dynamic development and good prospects of the air company, - head of RT Government underlined.
Director general of Lufthansa Technik Sofia company Bernd Freckmann informed that Lufthansa Technik has 60 technical service posts all over the world where daily 1700 checks of aircrafts is held. In total, the company services over 2000 air vessels.
The company Lufthansa Technik Sofia – joint venture of Lufthansa Technik (80%) и Bulgarian Aviation Group (20%) will be engaged in build up hangar in Kazan jointly with air company Tatarstan. The project assumes construction of hangar of technical service for two planes of Boeing-737 category at the international Kazan airport.
General director of Tatasrtan air company Ruslan Shakirov expressed hope that cooperation with Lufthansa Technik would serve raising quality of passengers service and facilitate further developing the air company.
In presence of RT Premiere Ildar Khalikov and executive director of Bulgarian Aviation Group Plamen Atanasov, Ruslan Shakirov and Bernd Freckmann have struck the agreement on cooperation between Tatarstan air company and Lufthansa Technik Sofia.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”
