Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tatarstan sums up the results of the regional contest "Territory of Law"

On August 22, Tatarstan Prime Minister Alexey Pesoshin took part in a ceremony of awarding the winners of the regional contest “Territory of Law”.

The annual contest has been held since 2007 on the initiative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic. The contest is aimed at encouraging heads of municipalities of the republic, heads of regional enterprises and organizations, educational institutions and citizens who make a significant contribution to ensuring public order and legal education of young people. The contest is traditionally held in two stages in seven nominations.

Congratulating the winners, Pesoshin noted that over recent years the contest has shown its relevance, it is becoming more popular and the number of its participants is steadily growing. Thanking the contestants for their civil initiative and assistance to internal affairs agencies, he expressed his confidence that today's event will give an impetus to further joint work.

In 2017, as many as 87 participants from all municipalities of the republic applied for the contest, 35 of them were acknowledged as the best ones.
