Rustam Minnikhanov: Tatarstan and Brazil have huge potential for mutually beneficial cooperation

August,15. On arriving to São Paulo (Brazil) President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a working dinner for members of International advisory board of business school Fundação Dom Cabral (FDC).
Rustam Minnikhanov thanked executives of the business school for opportunity to attend a meeting and introduce Tatarstan as one of the leading and rapidly developing Russian regions.
In his welcoming speech Rustam Minnikhanov informed that Tatarstan is one the largest industrial centres in Russia, first of all in the sphere of petrochemistry, oil refining, mechanical and instrument engineering, aircraft, ship and helicopter engineering. “We have enormous opportunities for cooperation. We hope that this visit will favor establishing new contacts with business community of Brazil”, - Head of Tatarstan stressed.
On finishing his speech Rustam Minnikhanov invited members of International advisory board of business school Fundação Dom Cabral to visit Tatarstan Republic and expressed hope for efficient development and strengthening relationship between Tatarstan and Brazil partners.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.

On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
