President of BrasilInvest Company Mario Garnero: I consider Tatarstan a reliable business partner

The decision to create a joint working group on developing perspective areas of cooperation between Tatarstan and Brazil was made by results of meeting between RT President Rustam Minnikhanov and President of BrasilInvest Mr Mario Garnero.

The meeting took place in São Paulo (Brazil) within the frameworks of working trip of Tatarstan delegation led by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov to Federal Republic Brazil (August,15-19, 2011).

The parties discussed cooperation opportunities of two regions in the sphere of mechanical engineering, chemical and petrochemical production, ship-building sector, agro-industrial complex, IT, education and sport. Mr Garnero called himself a Russian ambassador all over the world. He is sure of high potential of the intended cooperation. “We are open to the dialogue. I consider Tatarstan a reliable business partner and I am ready to consider certain proposals on every interaction point”, - he said.

“We have to break stereotypes regarding geographic remoteness of Russia and Latin America, to overcome needless prudence of our companies in market development. Then we will open new opportunities for cooperation”, - Rustam Minnikhanov summarized.
