Several agreements signed at MAKS-2011 with participation of Tatarstan Republic

August, 17. Several agreements have been signed within the limits of working trip of Tatarstan delegation led by PM Ildar Khalikov at international aerospace show MAKS-2011.
Head of RT government put his signature in Interregional agreement on commercial-economic and social-cultural cooperation in the sphere of aviation. The agreement concluded by five Russian regions implies cooperation in development of interregional air transport, airports and minor aviation. Besides Ildar Khalikov the document was signed by Deputy Governor of Ulianovsk region Vildan Zinnurov.
RT Ministry of industry and trade and JSC “Russian electronics” signed agreement on cooperation in the sphere of adopting energy-efficient technologies. Head of Ministry of industry and trade Ravil Zaripov and Director-general of JSC “Russian electronics” Andrei Zverev put their signatures.
Also the agreement about intentions on creating regional assembling production centre of energy-efficient lighting systems was signed together with the above mentioned one. It was signed by Director of JSC “Almetievsk plant Radioprobor” Aleksandr Mikhailov and Director-general of ZAO “New lighting technologies” Fedor Boyarkov.
According to Director-general of JSC “Russian electronics” Andrei Zverev these documents are the beginning of a long way of developing energy efficiency in Russian regions. A.Zverev informed that State Corporation “Rosnano” made decision about transferring all its enterprises to LED light sources. This measure will enable saving 60 bln. roubles. But the program cannot be realized without regions’ help.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. We all remember with gratitude the outstanding philanthropists – the Akchurin brothers, the Alafuzovs, and the Ushkovs, whose good deeds and generous donations contributed to the development of culture, education, and healthcare in our republic. The glorious traditions are continued by modern philanthropists and patrons of Tatarstan.
On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”
