Ildar Khalikov handed state awards of Russian Federation and Tatarstan Republic at Kazan Kremlin

Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov handed state awards of Russian Federation and Tatarstan Republic to the distinguished figures of science, culture, health care and other spheres.
A solemn event took place at Kazan Kremlin.
“The Republic of Tatarstan is today well-known in many countries around the world”, - Ildar Khalikov said welcoming participants of the ceremony. By his words, people who represent our republic may be proud of their achievements in culture, health care, industry and other sectors. Sport achievements of Tatarstan are well-known all over the world.
Head of RT Government conveyed sincere congratulations to participants of the ceremony on behalf of RT President Rustam Minnikhanov who is currently on a business trip abroad.
“Today’s awarding ceremony is the event for big teams which took part in those achievements realized by representatives of various spheres. It is important also for families of honored builders, economists, employees of scientific, health care and cultural areas.
RT Premier handed state awards of Russian Federation – medals of order “Of Merit for Country of the II Degree” (for contribution in development of modern machinery, for labor success and long-term fruitful work, for merits in development of domestic culture and art), honorary titles “Honored builder of Russian Federation”, “Honored economist of Russian Federation”, “Honored doctor of Russian Federation”, “Honored worker of health care of Russian Federation”, “Honored actor of Russian Federation”, “Honored ecologist of Russian Federation”, “Honored worker of culture of Russian Federation”.
Awards of the Republic of Tatarstan were - medals “For valorous work”, order “Of Merit for the Republic of Tatarstan”, honorary titles “Honored worker of science of the Republic of Tatarstan”, “Honored worker of health care of the Republic of Tatarstan”, “Honored worker of food industry of the Republic of Tatarstan”, “Honored worker of informatization and communications of the Republic of Tatarstan”, “Honored worker of physical culture of the Republic of Tatarstan”, “Honored actor of the Republic of Tatarstan”, “Honored art worker of the Republic of Tatarstan”, “Honored worker of culture of the Republic of Tatarstan”, “Honored economist of the Republic of Tatarstan”, “Honored doctor of the Republic of Tatarstan”, “Honored lawyer of the Republic of Tatarstan”, “Honored builder of the Republic of Tatarstan”, “Honored veterinarian of the Republic of Tatarstan”, “Honored worker of agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan”, “Honored worker of social care of the Republic of Tatarstan”, “Honored teacher of the Republic of Tatarstan”, “Honored inventor of the Republic of Tatarstan”, “Honored architect of the Republic of Tatarstan”.
On 9 May Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a ceremony of laying flowers to the monument “The victorious soldier” dedicated to the celebrations of the Day of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WW II) 1941-1945 and held at Arsk cemetery in Kazan.
On 8 May, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin reported that capital overhaul of social facilities is in full swing in the republic with 170 educational facilities having been included into regional and federal programmes.
On 4 May at a briefing held in the Tatarstan Government House it was told that currently there are 92 combat veterans, the last witnesses of the Great Patriotic War (WW II) of 1941-1945, living in the republic. The briefing also informed about veterans’ support measures and how the republic is planning to celebrate the Victory Day on 9 May.
The Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva told that names of 353 Heroes of the Soviet Union from Tatarstan “ are immortalized in street names, on memorials, in monuments and squares and, of course, in our memory”. “The Victory Day is the day of memory, mourning and joy. It is the event which today should be clearly understandable to all young people and younger generation of Tatarstan,” she said.
