Rustam Minnikhanov inspects sports venues at Kazan equestrian sports complex

On August 30, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Chief of Staff of Tatarstan President’s Administration Asgat Safarov, Minister of youth affairs and sport Vladimir Leonov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, and Director General of AO “Tatspirtprom” Irek Minnakhmetov inspected new sports venues at Kazan equestrian sports complex.

The first venue was the club of martial arts “Khan” that opened in the previous year. Rustam Minnikhanov was told that it is a socially oriented project aimed at the development of children’s and youth sport. It was noted that 120 children and teenagers attend sports classes for free. Tatarstan President looked around the training area and talked to young combatants.

Later on new indoor football arena was shown to Rustam Minnikhanov. He suggested using the surrounding area to the full and equipping summer sports grounds for small children.

Later on the same day Rustam Minnikhanov visited paintball center. Due to the necessary infrastructure international paintball competitions can be held there. There are three grounds for holding competitions, one of them is located in the air hall and can be used in winter.
