On August 30, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the video conference of the presidium session of the Russian Presidential Council for strategic development and priority projects held by Chairman of the Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev.
Participants of the session discussed passports of priority programme “Increasing labour productivity and supporting employment”, implementation of priority projects aimed at preservation and prevention of the pollution of the Volga River, and “International cooperation and export in industry”.
Dmitry Medvedev noted that labour productivity in Russia was twice as low as that of the ОECD countries in 2015. He suggested developing a package of measures for working people and companies. In particular, he spoke about tax incentives and improvement of HR records keeping.
Medvedev gave an errand to develop regional programmes of increasing labour productivity and supporting employment.
The project “International cooperation and export in industry” is connected with labour productivity, too.
The third project is aimed at restoration of the Volga River.
