On September 4, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Plenipotentiary Envoy of the Russian Federation to Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich, State Counsellor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev, Head of Federal Agency for Ethnic Affairs Igor Barinov, Prime Minister of the republic Alexey Pesoshin, Chairman of the regional Council Farid Mukhametshin, representatives of religious denominations and other officials took part in the solemn opening of the Bolgar Islamic Academy.

On September 2, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in opening of training and laboratory complex “College of future of Tatarstan” at Alnas enterprise in Almetievsk. It is a joint project of Chelyabinsk pipe-rolling plant and Tatarstan Government and is aimed at supplying mechanical engineering enterprises of the republic with professional staff in accordance with requirements of the modern production.
On September 2, speaking at a regional video-conference held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Alexey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov said that due to the fast pace of the harvesting as many as 70 per cent of grain-sown areas or 1 million 40 thousand hectares have been harvested in Tatarstan by the end of August.
