President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has met with Executive Director of Ernst & Young Center for Smart Cities Innovation William Hutchison. The meeting was held at the RT Government House with participation of Deputy PM and Minister of informatization and communications Roman Shaikhutdinov.Participants of the meeting discussed global trends in the sphere of creation of innovative cities, creation, promotion and development of innovative satellite city “Innopolis” in Kazan.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has met with the Russian Minister of culture Vladimir Medinsky. The meeting was held at the Kazan Kremlin in the president’s work room. Tatarstan’s Minister of culture Airat Sibagatullin, Chief of the Department of culture and RT peoples' languages development under the RT Cabinet Staff Gulshat Nigmatullinam were present at the meeting.

Tatarstan’s State Counselor and Chairman of the Board of guardians of the Republican Foundation “Vozrozhdenie” (“Renaissance”) Mintimer Shaimiev, first Vice-governor of the Central Macedonia (Greece) Mr Kostas Karapanagiotidis, chief of the UNESCO Greece department for preservation of architectural monuments Mr Avraam Kassiteridis, Director-General of ICCROM Mr Stefano De Caro and special adviser of Director General of the United Nations Organisation on issues of education, science and culture Mr Munir Bushenaki have visited historical monuments of the island town of Sviyazhsk.

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Arkady Dvorkovich has visited new seed producing plant in Novotroitskoe village of the Tukai municipal region (the Republic of Tatarstan).He was accompanied by the Tatarstan PM Ildar Khalikov, Deputy PM and Minister of agriculture and foodstuff Marat Akhmetov and Mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny Vasil Shaikhraziev.

Agreement on cooperation in foreign economic sphere has been signed between the Russian Ministry of economic development and the Tatarstan Government in Moscow.The document was signed by Chief of the Russian Ministry of economic development Andrei Belousov and President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
