On October 5, speaking at a solemn ceremony dedicated to the Day of Workers of Agriculture and Processing Industry, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that agriculture is the key branch of the regional economy and the basis of food security of the republic.

On October 4, State Counsellor of Tatarstan, Chairman of the Board of trustees of the Revival regional foundation Mintimer Shaimiev met representatives of foreign mass media agencies accredited at the Russian Ministry of foreign affairs, who are taking part in a study trip to the republic on October 2-4. The trip is organized by the regional press and mass communications “Tatmedia” by the request of foreign mass media agencies.

On October 4, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who is on a working visit in Moscow, took part in the "Russian Energy Week" Energy Efficiency and Energy Development International Forum, which is being held in Moscow and St. Petersburg from the 4th to the 7th of October. 

On October 3, in the Kremlin in Moscow, Russian President Vladimir Putin held a joint meeting of the Council for the Development of Physical Culture and Sport and the Supervisory Board of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia Organizing Committee.

On October 3, State Counsellor of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev met Nakiya Gilyazova, the wife of People’s writer of the Republic of Tatarstan Ayaz Gilyazov.

On October 3, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held working meetings with Minister of State for Trade and Industry and National Development of Singapore Koh Poh Koon and Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for Economic and Social Policies of Singapore Tharman Shanmugaratnam.

On October 3, during his working visit to Singapore, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met Prime Minister of Singapore Lee Hsien Loong. Rustam Minnikhanov thanked Lee Hsien Loong for the opportunity to meet and perfect organization of the delegation’s itinerary.

On October 3, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Civil Service College in Singapore, where he took part in the opening of the educational programme “Leadership and innovations in action” for 21 government and municipal employees from Tatarstan and attended the lecture “From the “Garden in the city” concept to the “City in a garden” concept.

On October 3, during his working trip to the Republic of Singapore, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Council for Housing Construction and Improvement, where he was presented housing projects implemented in the country, starting with the issue of land allocation, construction and renovation, ending with the distribution of housing among various social groups.

On October 2, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who arrived on working visit in Singapore, was met by Ambassador of Russia to Singapore Andrey Tatarinov at Changi airport.
The Tatarstan delegation includes Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov, Aide to Tatarstan President Natalia Fishman, Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina, Director of the Department for foreign affairs Eduard Khabibullin, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Valeev, First Deputy Head of the Executive Committee of Kazan Damir Fattakhov, Board Chairman of Ak Bars Bank Zufar Garaev.
