On June 22, on the Day of Memory and Sorrow, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a ceremony of laying flowers and wreaths at the Eternal Flame in the Victory Park in Kazan.
On June 22, the Republic of Tatarstan and PJSC Aeroflot signed Agreement on cooperation and partnership in the sphere of the development of information technologies, scientific-technical, information and analytical and expert activity. The document was signed by Prime Minister Alexey Pesoshin and Deputy Director General of PJSC Aeroflot Kirill Bogdanov.

On June 20, speaking at a briefing at the Government House of the republic, Chairman of the State Committee on Tourism of the republic Sergey Ivanov said that the additional flow of foreign tourists is expected to arrive in Kazan during the FIFA Confederations Cup. According to him, the growth in international arrivals will make 10-15 per cent as compared to the same period last year.
