On April 26, at his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov reported on the social and economic situation in the republic.

On April 26, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Chairman of State Council Farid Mukhametshin, and other officials attended the official awarding ceremony of the State prize of the Republic of Tatarstan named after Gabdulla Tukai at M. Dzhalil Tatar academic opera and ballet theatre. Three writers became prize winners.

On April 26, at Tukay Public Gardens in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov laid flowers at the monument to Tatar poet Gabdulla Tukay on the occasion of the 131st anniversary of the birth of the great poet. 

On April 26, at the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a regional video-conference on results of the implementation of consolidated budget of the republic in the first quarter of 2017 and tasks for 2017.

On April 25, Chief of Staff of Tatarstan President’s Administration Asgat Safarov congratulated Mintimer Shaimiev on being awarded the title of the Hero of Labour of the Russian Federation:

On April 25, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated First President of the Republic of Tatarstan, State Counsellor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev on being awarded the title of the Hero of Labour of the Russian Federation. 

On April 25, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed an executive order awarding Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev the title of the Hero of Labour of the Russian Federation.

 

On April 25, Russian Minister for Open Government Mikhail Abyzov, Head of the Federal service for labour and employment Vsevolod Vukolov, and other officials took part in public discussion of law enforcement practice of the State labour inspectorate of the Republic of Tatarstan.

On April 25, speaking at a briefing at Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers, Deputy Minister of Health of the republic Farida Yarkaeva said that about 30,000 veterans of  World War II, or more than 51 per cent of all categories of veterans, including homefront workers, underwent regular examination. "With the participation of mobile physician teams, almost 60 per cent of those, who underwent medical monitoring, were examined at home," she said.

 

On April 25, during their visit to the Alabuga Special Economic Zone (Yelabuga municipal region of Tatarstan), Russia's Minister for Open Government Affairs Mikhail Abyzov, Head of the Federal Service for Labour and Employment Vsevolod Vukolov and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with graduates of the special economic zone's corporate university and got acquainted with their final projects.
