On February 15, at their meeting at the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and activists of All-Russia People's Front discussed the implementation of public offers in priority areas of state policy and topical issues of life of citizens. Internet media safety for children and the problem of non-functioning lifts in overground pedestrian crossings were the main topics of their discussion.
On February 15, speaking at a summary meeting of Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the republic on results of work of the agricultural industry in 2016 and tasks for 2017, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov reported that the gross agricultural output made 238.6 bln roubles in Tatarstan in 2016.
On February 15, during Volga agro-industrial forum, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited agricultural fairs at the 20th international exhibition “Agricultural complex: Interagro. Animed. Farmer of the Volga region” and 17th exhibition “Volgaprodexpo” (Kazanskaya yarmarka exhibition center, Kazan).
On February 15, at their meeting at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Commander of Volga Regional Command of National Guard of Russia Alexander Poryadin discussed further steps to develop cooperation in terms of population security and strengthening of the law and order.
On February 14, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in presidium session of the Russian Presidential Council for economic modernization and innovative development of Russia (Skolkovo innovation center). The session was held by Chairman of Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev.
On February 14, speaking at a briefing at Tatarstan Government House, Commissioner for Human Rights in the republic Sariya Saburskaya reported that the number of complaints in the People's Control System about the quality of services in polyclinics and hospitals has increased in Tatarstan. In 2016 the system registered 717 complaints, she added.
On February 14, during his working trip to Moscow, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov will take part in a presidium session of the Russian Presidential Council for economic modernization and innovative development of Russia (Skolkovo innovation center).
On February 13, during his working visit to Tatarstan, Chairman of the Russian State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin accompanied by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Chairman of State Council of the republic Farid Mukhametshin, Minister of Information and Communication of the republic Roman Shaikhutdinov, members of the Russian State Duma visited the Innopolis University, where he had a meeting with students and teaching staff.
On February 13, Chairman of the Russian State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin accompanied by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, State Counsellor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev, and other officials visited historic sites of Staro-Tatarskaya sloboda in Kazan.
