Tatarstan President meets CEO of Strategic Marketing & Exhibitions Company Dawood Al Shezawi

On October 18, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a working visit with CEO of Strategic Marketing & Exhibitions Company Dawood Al Shezawi.

Minnikhanov has already with Dawood Al Shezawi several times and in the beginning of the meeting they greeted each other as old friends. Dawood Al Shezawi is also the president of the Annual Investment Meeting in Dubai. The delegation of Tatarstan actively participates in this event. Dawood Al Shezawi visited Kazan in 2016 and 2017 to take part in the KazanSummit International Economic Summit.

Strategic Marketing & Exhibitions Company is one of the leading organizers of exhibitions and conferences in UAE, as well as WorldSkills Abu Dhabi 2017.

Speaking at the meeting, Minnikhanov commended the organization of WorldSkills Championship in Abu Dhabi.

Dawood Al Shezawi thanked Minnikhanov for his appreciation of the event and stressed that Tatarstan is one of the most economically developed, stable and innovative regions of Russia. He said that he is sure that WorldSkills to take place in Kazan in 2019 will be held at the highest global level.  

The meeting discussed possibilities for cooperation between Tatarstan and Strategic Marketing & Exhibitions concerning organization of WorldSkills Championship in Kazan in 2019 and further promotion of Kazan-EXPO Exhibition Centre in the world industry of exhibitions as one the largest centres in Volga region.
