Ildar Khalikov: Kazan plant of synthetic rubber has future, new anniversaries and victories

Tatarstan PM Ildar Khalikov congratulated personnel of Kazan plant of synthetic rubber on the 75th anniversary. Head of Republican government held a travelling session of JSC “Tatneftehiminvest-holding” board.
The session dedicated to anniversary of one of the first Tatarstan petrochemical enterprises started from touring plant workshops. Members of JSC “Tatneftehiminvest-holding” board visited the thiocol-producing workshop. Thiocol, a polysulfide rubber is used for hermetic sealing of various products including military-oriented production. For example, thiocols made in Tatarstan are used for sealing fuel tanks in ballistic missiles. Only three companies in the world produce thiocols. The share of Kazan plant of synthetic rubber makes 18 %.
The project of modernizing production thiocols was presented to Ildar Khalikov. 117 mln roubles have already been invested in realization of the project. Modernization enabled reducing production cycle, decrease production cost, and volumes of sewage waters. Finally in September 2011 Kazan plant of synthetic rubber stopped discharging sewage waters into the lake Sredny Kaban completely.
Later on guests saw production of silicone automotive sealants. According to Director-general of JSC “KPSR” Aleksey Konturov, the enterprise takes about 65 % of the Russian market of silicone automotive sealants.
Chairman of JSC “KZSC” Board, Chairman of AKB “Spurt bank” management Evgeniya Dautova spoke at the session. She informed the plant has five independent factories, number of employees make 1100 people. In 2011 the turnover made 1,8 bln roubles, in 2012 it is expected to make 2,3 bln roubles. Export makes 39 % of proceeds.
New major project meant to be realized at the plant with governmental support is construction of methylchlorosilane-production plant. The project has already been funded for 350 mln roubles. The construction is to be started next year.
Tatarstan PM Ildar Khalikov congratulated personnel of the plant on the 75th anniversary on behalf of RT President. He marked the enterprise is now on the way of sustainable development.
Head of RT Government enhanced that the holding has managed to overcome hard times, preserve personnel and elaborate a development strategy. Addressing the employees he thanked them for work and devotion to the enterprise, and granted republican awards.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. We all remember with gratitude the outstanding philanthropists – the Akchurin brothers, the Alafuzovs, and the Ushkovs, whose good deeds and generous donations contributed to the development of culture, education, and healthcare in our republic. The glorious traditions are continued by modern philanthropists and patrons of Tatarstan.
On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”
