2,48 mln m² housing to be constructed in 2012 in Tatarstan Republic

2,48 mln m² housing are planned to be constructed in 2012 in Tatarstan in the context of housing construction program, Minister of construction, architecture and housing Irek Faizullin informed at a republican meeting on November, 18.
The meeting was held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov in RT Government House in format of video conference with all municipal regions.
By words of Irek Faizullin in 2012 total volume of objects under construction is 1,2 mln m² housing. It is not enough to fulfill the plan 2012.
The following micro-districts will be developing in the context of the program – Podametievo, Yudino, the district close to Regional Clinical Hospital, Khadi Taktash, Chistopolskaya, Maksimova streets.
Multi-apartment investment housing will be constructed in Naberezhnye Chelny, Zelenodolsk, Nizhnekamsk, Almetievsk, Elabuga, Bugulma, Leninogorsk and Chistopol.
In 10 municipal regions (Aksubaevsky, Apastovsky, Drozhzhanovsky, Kaibitsky, Mendeleevsky, Novosheshminsky, Tetyushsky, Tukaevsky, Cheremshansky, Yutazinsky) the housing construction program – 2012 will be realized by means of low-rise construction.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
