Ildar Khalikov: 80-anniversary of Verkhneuslonsky region is an important event for Republic

Tatarstan PM Ildar Khalikov took part in celebrations dated to 80-anniversary of Verkhneuslonsky region which took place in local house of culture.
Before the celebrations Ildar Khalikov inspected the photo exhibition of Tatarstan prosecutor Kafil Amirov, native of Verkhneuslonsky region. Kafil Amirov presented his landscape pictures of native land. Head of Tatarstan Government also visited exhibition of products made at regional enterprises.
A solemn event started from theatrical performance dedicated to the history of Verkhneuslonsky region. Acting Head of Verkhneuslonsky executive committee Marat Ziatdinov congratulated residents of the region on the event and invited Tatarstan PM to the stage.
Ildar Khalikov congratulated everyone on holiday on behalf of RT President, Government and State Council. He marked 80-anniversary of Verkhneuslonsky region is an important event for Republic.
“Main wealth of the region is people. Different ethnic groups and religions live and work here in harmony. It is great you keep friendly relationships and value cultural heritage”, Ildar Khalikov highlighted. We remember and honor famous natives of Verkhneuslonsky region, - politicians, scientists, poets, talented sportsmen. Names of soldiers, natives of the region, Heroes of the Soviet Union were forever included in Tatarstan chronicles.
Ildar Khalikov recalled those people who contributed in construction of the bridge across Volga River which was opened in 1989 and gave an impetus to development of Tatarstan.
Head of RT Government emphasized achievements of the region in agriculture and thanked large investing companies. He wished residents of Verkhneuslonsky region new achievements, health and wellbeing and granted awards and letters of gratitude.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. We all remember with gratitude the outstanding philanthropists – the Akchurin brothers, the Alafuzovs, and the Ushkovs, whose good deeds and generous donations contributed to the development of culture, education, and healthcare in our republic. The glorious traditions are continued by modern philanthropists and patrons of Tatarstan.
On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”
