Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov was today on a working trip in Agryz municipal region. Head of RT visited several objects and met with local activists.
In particular, Rustam Minnikhanov visited two new houses built by the program on resettling residents from dilapidated housing and the program on providing housing for veterans of Great Patriotic War. The President talked to new residents wishing them to live in new flats for a long time.
In the central regional hospital Rustam Minnikhanov looked over new building of children's polyclinic. It is now located in the building of the Central Regional Hospital where major repair was implemented for the sum of 12 mln roubles. Thus, reception conditions and admission rate of the polyclinic were improved. Chief physician of the Central Regional Hospital Andrey Shubin especially thanked head of Republic for the catering program. The President also visited dental unit of the hospital.
Rustam Minnikhanov overhauled new kindergarten built by the “Belekech” program. It is one of the largest pre-school institutions in Republic (1800 m ²). The kindergarten is completely finished and equipped, but some comments of the supervisory bodies should be resolved before the object is commissioned.
Later on Rustam Minnikhanov met with activists of Agryz municipal region. Tatarstan President said he was satisfied with changes happening in the region. He reminded 50 people received flats by the program on resettling residents from dilapidated housing in 2011, 22 veterans of 360 are to be provided with housing. Rustam Minnikhanov paid attention to the high quality of new houses.
Head of Tatarstan told about plans on developing health care in the region. In particular, a new adult polyclinic is expected to be construction in Agryz. In this issue we rely on assistance of JSC “Russian railways” as many residents of the town work for this company, Rustam Minnikhanov said.
The President told about new large republican programs such as major repair of schools, construction of village clubs, modernization of health care. All of these programs can be realized only with a strong economy. Thus, Tatarstan leadership initiated a mission to double gross regional product by 2016.
Oil production, petrochemistry and engineering will remain the key economic sectors in Republic. However, major efforts should be made at the local level. “Your wellbeing is in your hands. All of us have to work a lot so that our people live better”, Tatarstan President stated.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. We all remember with gratitude the outstanding philanthropists – the Akchurin brothers, the Alafuzovs, and the Ushkovs, whose good deeds and generous donations contributed to the development of culture, education, and healthcare in our republic. On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”
