Ildar Khalikov holds session of RT Cabinet Presidium on issue of realizing the Strategy of anti-corruption policy for 2009-2011

Preliminary results of the program on realizing the Strategy of anti-corruption policy for 2009-2011 were summarized at a session of RT Cabinet Presidium on November 23.

The session was held by RT Premier Ildar Khalikov in Tatarstan Government House.

In the event took part Head of RT Cabinet Staff Yury Kamaltynov, Tatarstan Prosecutor Kafil Amirov, Chief of the Department for anti-corruption policy at RT President Mars Badrutdinov, heads of republican ministries and departments.

Corruption fight is very urgent problem for government authorities, Ildar Khalikov said. He reminded the Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and the whole Russian government put much emphasis on this issue. Issues of anti-corruption policy are especially controlled by the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov as he said in his Message to RT State Council this September.

Tatarstan Minister of justice Midkhat Kurmanov reported on execution of RT Cabinet Decree as of 22.09.2008 № 693 “On approval of the republican program on realizing the Strategy of anti-corruption policy for 2009-2011” and measures on strengthening сcorruption fight in RT executive state government bodies.

He informed efficient measures on improvement of anti-corruption system were taken in the context of the program in Republic. The Law “On making alterations in the law of RT “on corruption fight” was issued. Activity of republican and municipal government authorities is becoming more open. By words of Midkhat Kurmanov measures stipulated by the program were implemented.

By RT Cabinet Decree № 687 a Complex republican anti-corruption program for 2012-2014 was approved in August 2011.

Head of the Ministry of youth affairs, sport and tourism Rafis Burganov reported on realization of the Strategy of anti-corruption policy for 2009-2011 in the institution.

Head of Republican agency on press and mass communications Marat Muratov, First deputy minister of forestry Kharis Musin, Chief of the Department for anti-corruption policy at RT President Mars Badrutdinov also made reports.
