Agreement on cooperation between Lomonosov Moscow state university and Kazan (Volga) federal university was signed on November 24 in Moscow.
Rector of Lomonosov Moscow state university Viktor Sadovnichy and rector of Kazan (Volga) federal university Ilshat Gafurov put signatures on the document.
In the event took part Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow in Moscow Government on mass media issues, inter-regional cooperation, sport and tourism Aleksandr Gorbenko, RT Minister of education and science Albert Gilmutdinov, RT Minister of industry and trade Ravil Zaripov.
The agreement was signed within the confines of a “round table” themed “Development of trade-economic and scientific-technical cooperation between the Republic of Tatarstan and Moscow”.
Representatives of various economic sectors, business structures of Tatarstan and Moscow, chiefs of major enterprises including JSC “KAMAZ”, JSC “Zelenodolsk plant n.a. Gorky”, PO “Plant n.a. Sergo”, “Ak Bars” Holding company spoke in the course of the“round table”.
We remind events are being held within the confines of Days of the Republic of Tatarstan in Moscow that will be officially opened today’s evening at 7 p.m in Moscow international House of music.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. We all remember with gratitude the outstanding philanthropists – the Akchurin brothers, the Alafuzovs, and the Ushkovs, whose good deeds and generous donations contributed to the development of culture, education, and healthcare in our republic. The glorious traditions are continued by modern philanthropists and patrons of Tatarstan.
On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”
