Rustam Minnnikhanov: we expect to activate cooperation with Ernst&Young

Tatarstan leadership expects one of the largest consulting-audit company Ernst&Young to activate its work in Republic. Such statement was made by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov at a meeting with managing partner of Ernst&Young on CIS countries Karl Johansson.
The event took place at the Kazan Kremlin.
Head of Republic noted currently Ernst&Young yields to its competitors at the Tatarstan market. Rustam Minnnikhanov urged the company to work more efficiently in Tatarstan by rendering wider range of services at competitive prices.
Tatarstan President said he hopes Ernst&Young would find new major partners in Republic and would favour attraction of new investors.
Rustam Minnnikhanov reminded about existing opportunities for major investments in RT, in particular, about special economic zone “Alabuga”.
Head of Republic believes Ernst&Young could recommend Tatarstan to their clients as the place for efficient investments.
We remind in February 2011 Ernst&Young opened their office in Kazan which specializes in rendering audit and consulting services.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”
