From February 1, 2012 pension to be raised

From February 1, 2012, labor pension will be indexated трудовая пенсия by 7 per cent and form April 1, 2012 – yet more by 2,4 per cent. These innovations in pension legislation to the journalists during the briefing Branch manager of PFR on RT Marsel Imamov.

From April 1 increasing of monthly money payment (EDV) by 6 per cent is expected and indexation of pensions 14,1 percent om state pension provision. These are so called social pensions.

Minimal level of pension provision with account of granted measures of social support and setting social extra charge among non-employed pensioners will be supported at the level of minimum subsistence of pensioners in RF subject.

Speaking about the novelties in pension legislation in the next year, the participant of briefing mentioned from January 1, 2012, changes come into force entered in law on insurance payments. From new year the size of maternity capital will get increased and new possibilities of its use will available. From July 1, 2012, Russian pensioners having the right by law for receiving accrued part of pension who already retired will receive corresponding payments.
