RF Vice minister of energy Sergei Kudryashov: «TANECO» - first major project for last 20 year in the field of oil refining in Russia

The project «TANECO» - is a really first major project for last 20 years in the field of oil processing within the Russian Federation. RF Vice minister of energy Sergei Kudryashov has stated this today in Nizhnekamsk while visiting the Complex of oil chemical and oil refining plants («TANECO»).

Answering the questions from journalists, Sergei Kudryashov informed that «we have seen already bettering the quality on our oil exports because high sulfur oil remains and is processed here». We hope that all planned by us will be realized further, RF Vice minister of energy said.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov contacting with mass media asserted that such enterprises like JSC «TANECO» afford an opportunity to develop the economy of the republic - these are working places, deepening oil refining stock for oil chemical industry.

«We have many prospects, - Rustam Minnikhanov said. – It is necessary to carry the «TANECO» project to the end in order oil conversion rate made 97%». He mentioned that today the project enjoys all necessary support from the part of RF Ministry of energy, close cooperation is under way.

«Today we seriously consider raising resource base by means of attracting bitumen oil in process, - Rustam Minnikhanov said. – Certainly, this requires big initial investments but if to look in general – this is an immense resource existing in our country including Tatarstan».

Summing up, Sergei Kudryashov marked that the most important is concrete results for the branch where a lot of people are engaged.

These results may be measured – first and foremost, these are volumes of processing and new products and objects. «These results are visible alive and it is a pleasure that the enterprises of Tatartsan oil chemical sector enter new year with a good hope», - Sergei Kudryashov said.
