2824 km of hanging telecom lines and air-cable transitions in Tatarstan subject to placing underground.
Vice RT Premier –minister of info and communication Nikolai Nikiforv informed this at today’s republican meeting at the Cabinet.
The meeting was held in video conference format with switching all municipal regions and held by RT President R.N Minnikhanov
Nikolai Nikiforov reminded that the work in this direction is on within the framework of RT Cabinet resolution 1159-р. Since July 2011, 171 hanging telecom lines have been moved to underground communication.
In Kazan 64 km, in N. Chelny - 21 km and other cities have been placed.
It is important to assess percent correlation of hanging telecom lines and already moved into underground communications.
In this regard, Tchistopol is a leader, 80% of present hanging lines moved underground.
Concerning the companies – operators, the company «R-Telecom» has 1240 км hanging telecom lines and air-cable transitions, 12 of which placed under soil.
The company has signed the agreement of transition 114 km to underground communications in 2012.
Oral agreements with TVT company were reached on placing 563 hanging lines into underground level, Nikolai Nikiforv informed

The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”
