President of Tatarstan delivered RT State awards in the field of science and engineering

Eight State awards 2011 of the Republic Tatarstan in the field of science and engineering have been bestowed by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov. A solemn ceremony took place in the Kazan Kremlin.
The state awards in the sphere of science and engineering are delivered annually in Tatarstan. This year for seeking the award 15 works have been submitted, 18 works-laureates. 4 works refer to technical and precise sciences, 4 – to humanitarian. Size of the for each scientific collective makes 300 ths. rubles. The Edict of RT President was signed on November 29 and today Rustam Minnikhanov has handed the awards to the scientists
Addressing the laureates, head of the republic marked that this prize is the most prestigious reward in scientific circles of Tatarstan. «We are proud by our laureates, scientific traditions of our republic are not only kept but are multiplied, - R. Minnikhanov stated. – Your developments service progressing of Tatarstan».
By words of RT President, it is impossible without scientific activity to retain competitiveness. «The work of our scientific, educational centers is very important for our highly technological, industrial republic”, - Rustam Minnikhanov underlined.
«Today we mark 8 works, 35 laureates and it is pleasure that among them there are not only the representatives of Tatarstan but the scientists from other regions, - RT President said. – it is important that our scientists expose themselves by their discoveries not only in the republic but in scales of the world science».

Great thanks to you», - Rustam Minnikhanov addressed to the laureates and handed them diplomas and signs of laureates of RT State award in the field of science and engineering.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. We all remember with gratitude the outstanding philanthropists – the Akchurin brothers, the Alafuzovs, and the Ushkovs, whose good deeds and generous donations contributed to the development of culture, education, and healthcare in our republic. The glorious traditions are continued by modern philanthropists and patrons of Tatarstan.
On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”
