Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov demands RT Government repeal resolution on imposing trip restrictions on public transport

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a working meeting on issues of transport service in RT with participation of RT Premier Ildar Khalikov and Minister of transport and road construction Lenar Safin.

In connection with multiple appeals of citizens regarding imposed restrictions on the number of trips on public transport the following decision was made:

1. The resolution of RT Cabinet № 1017, № 1018 dated as of 19.12.2011 must be repealed; RT Government must find financial means to compensate expenses of transport companies engaged in carrying privileged passengers;

2. Heads of municipalities must provide personalized calculation of trips of privileged passengers;

3. RT State committee on tariffs must audit fixed tariffs on RT public transport;

4. UGIBDD MVD on RT and Department of state road supervision on RT must intensify control over observance of regulations of technical and sanitary state of public transport vehicles.
