Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin visits Moscow International Festival “Sabantuy – 2018”

On July 21, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in the Moscow International Festival “Sabantuy – 2018” held at the Kolomenskoye Museum - Reserve.

The Government of Moscow, Tatarstan Government, Bashkortostan Government and Regional public organization - Tatar national-cultural autonomy of Moscow are the organizers of the holiday.

The main surprise of the current Sabantuy was a specially cooked chak-chak (Tatar national dish) which weighed 2018 kilogrammes.

Six live theatres, each one representing the part of the world, were waiting for the visitors of the festival.

The authentic Tatar and Bashkir villages, the East Fair, the Alley of National Tents "Street of Good Neighbors", attractions, exhibitions, master classes by the stars of sport and show business were established and organized at the area of over 200,000 square meters. Pesoshin visited all the venues and got acquainted with the Sabantui national souvenirs fair.

Tatarstan Prime Minister congratulated all the guests and participants of the event on the national holiday Sabantuy and on behalf of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov greeted Sabantuy-2018.  Pesoshin also handed in the awards - the Letters of Commendation of Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers to the most distinguished representatives of the Tatar national-cultural autonomy of the city of Moscow.
