Valery Chernyshtsev elected Head of Tetyush region

Valery Chernyshtsev has become Head of Tetyush municipal region (the Republic of Tatarstan). He was today introduced by RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov. Deputies of the local council supported the decision and voted for Valery Chernyshtsev at a session of the Council of Tetyush municipal region.
The PM thanked residents of Tetyush region for active participation in elections that had been recently held in the country.
Ildar Khalikov marked that the meeting was a historical one, and it would remain in memory of the region’s residents. Many things depend on professional skills of the leader, he said adding that Valery Chernyshtsev had required a good reputation.
“Several important and useful decisions have already been made in a short period of time. He is a very energetic leader with a wide working experience in law enforcement bodies and Elabuga region,” the PM said.
Fulfilling the assignment of RT President Rustam Minnikhanov Ildar Khalikov offered the deputies to elect Valery Chernyshtsev to the post of Head of Tetyush region.
Thus, Valery Chernyshtsev was elected the Head of the region by secret voting.
The elected head of the region thanked Tatarstan leadership for trusting him and said that he would do his best in order to meet expectations of local dwellers.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
