A special session of the Council of Kaibitsky municipal region (the Republic of Tatarstan) was held in Bolshie Kaibitsy on March 19. New head of the region was elected at the session.
According to the proposal of the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov Albert Rakhmatullin was appointed to the post.
Before the session Head of Tatarstan visited the comprehensive school of Bolshie Kaibitsy. He saw classes, spoke to pupils, and inspected the repair works. President of Tatarstan also met with school hockey team, winner of republican tournament “Golden puck”.
Besides, Rustam Minnikhanov visited sports and fitness center “Olimp”, the only sports complex in Bolshie Kaibitsy for the moment.
During the special session of the Council of Kaibitsky municipal region its Chairman Zavdat Gaffarov submitted an application about going out of office by his personal wish. Deputies of the council accepted retirement of the head.
President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov thanked Zavdat Gaffarov for his work during 13 years. By words of RT President, his experience will be used on another post.
To the point, Rustam Minnikhanov reminded that 77 thousand m² of housing, 8 schools, a kindergarten, 3 houses of culture and new roads 41- km stretch have been built over the period of his leadership.
Head of Tatarstan urged new leader to focus on problems of agriculture. Rustam Minnikhanov believes the advent of a big investor – “Ak Bars” holding in the region will give impetus to development of agro-industrial complex.
He also recommended paying attention to small and medium entrepreneurship.
RT President agreed that sport infrastructure is not well developed in the region and promised to build another sport complex there.
President of Tatarstan granted a medal “For merits in development of local self-government” and proposed deputy of the local council Albert Rakhmatullin to the post of head of Kaibitsky region.
“Albert Rakhmatullin was born in Kaibitsky region and has gained solid experience in agricultural sector of the region,” Rustam Minnikhanov marked.
During the secret voting deputies of the Council unanimously supported the candidacy of Albert Rakhmatullin.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”
