In the Republic of Tatarstan ice drift is expected in the first decade of April. Such an information was presented by the deputy head of SI “Department for hydrometeorology and environmental monitoring of RT” Galina Zhdanova at a traditional briefing in the House of RT Government.
The briefing in format of teleconference with all municipal regions was dedicated to preparation for accident-free passing of flood water in RT.
Galina Zhdanova told representatives of mass media about forecasted spring flood in republic and weather forecast for nearest few days. In general, she marked that in 2012 temperature conditions did not differ from previous years, except for February when air temperature was four degrees below normal.
Galina Zhdanova informed that rivers of western part of Tatarstan will break up firstly. Rivers of the eastern part will break up later.
Ice drift in front Volga area is expected to begin on April 4-7, in western front Kama area- April 5-10, in western trans-Kama area - April 8-9, in eastern trans-Kama area – April 9-11.
Deputy head of SI “Department for hydrometeorology and environmental monitoring of RT” told as well that currently republic is under the influence of cyclone.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “

There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
