Tatarstan President reviews presentation of Mekran company

Exhibition of the furniture company Mekran has been presented to the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov today.
Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, RT Minister of construction, architecture, housing and utilities Irek Faizullin, Minister of industry and trade Ravil Zaripov, Chief of Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov also viewed the exposition.
The Russian company Mekran is the owner of two furniture factories in Krasnoyarsk, and a timber procurement complex. Today, the company is holding a seminar-presentation in Kazan for participants of the Tatarstan hotel market.
Before the seminar President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov saw round the exhibition of the company’s produce. Head of republic had a high opinion of the furniture quality, however noting that a competitive price is likely to be offered.
The advent of one more big furniture company in Tatarstan will promote competitiveness that will be good for customers, Rustam Minnikhanov believes.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
