Half a million m² of housing to be commissioned by April 1 in Tatarstan

60 thousand m² of housing are planned to be commissioned in Tatarstan by the end of first quarter 2012. Total area of housing commissioned for three months should make 540 thousand m².
Such a data has been cited at a republican video conference meeting held by the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
Opening the meeting, head of republic reminded that the construction plan 2012 implies commissioning of 2,48 mln m² of housing in Tatarstan. 482 thousand m² (19 % of the annual plan) have been commissioned for March 22.
First deputy Minister of construction, architecture, housing and utilities Farit Khanifov reported that 540 thousand m² of housing have been constructed in Tatarstan by April 1, 2011.
Speaking about the program of providing housing for WWII veterans President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov informed that 16961 veterans have now been registered in the program. 15558 of them have received subsidies.
According to Farit Khanifov, construction of 158 houses for 643 WWII veterans is being implemented in republic.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
