Ildar Khalikov and Gennady Kirillov discuss preparation of Tatarstan for spring-summer fire-hazardous period

Acting RT President – Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov has met with Chief state inspector of Russia on fire supervision Colonel General Gennady Kirillov in the RT Government House.
“I am glad that Kazan was chosen for holding Coordination council of the Russian ministry of emergency situations on issues of ensuring fire safety and improving supervisory activity,” Ildar Khalikov said welcoming Gennady Kirillov.
After the summer of 2009 and large amount of fires we have changed our attitude to such measures as readiness for fire-hazardous period, equipping of fire stations with necessary machinery, ensuring fire safety of objects and settlements.
Ildar Khalikov also focused on involvement of volunteers as an important part of preventing fire-hazardous situations. To the point, those regions where a systemic work was well organized faced less damage caused by fires, he said.
Acting RT President told RF Chief state inspector on fire supervision about work implemented in Tatarstan on preparing for spring-summer fire-hazardous period. He informed as well that the republican target program on fire safety for 2012-2015 is on the stage of final approval now.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
