Rustam Minnikhanov speaks to readers of the newspaper “Respublika Tatarstan” through direct telephone line

RT President Rustam Minnikhanov has answered questions of readers of the newspaper “Respublika Tatarstan” through direct telephone line today in connection with the 95th anniversary of the newspaper.

Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated the staff of the newspaper “Respublika Tatarstan” on the 95th anniversary.

“Your newspaper covers all good events happening in republic. You are doing important job for our republic and the whole country,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.

During the direct telephone communication readers asked the Tatarstan head different questions.

In particular, Rustam Minnikhanov answered the question about construction of housing for rent in republic.

According to RT President, in order to attract human resources housing must be provided in potential economic areas. Construction of housing for rent is one of the possible ways.

“The program of social mortgage is now implemented in republic but we are considering construction of housing for rent as well,” Rustam Minnikhanov informed.

Answering the question regarding inefficiency of citizens’ appeals to officials Rustam Minnikhanov suggested creating a single base of appeals to various authorities. He believes that it will let arranging the work and defining most urgent problems to be solved immediately.

Another question concerned employment of disabled people. Head of republic reminded that involvement of handicapped people in active life is the task set by the Russian leadership. Thus, the program “Available environment” is being realized in republic under the auspices of the federal center. The republican budget also stipulates funding for these purposes.

During direct telephone communication dwellers of the Chistopol town said that they worry about the advent of radical sects. According to Rustam Minnikhanov, active religious agitation is illegal especially among children. He promised to send a commission to the town in order to check up the appeal and take measures stipulated by law in case of confirmation of facts.

A resident of Naberezhnye Chelny asked about extremely wide use of foreign components in KAMAZ trucks. Rustam Minnikhanov marked that foreign companies produce most components for trucks at joint enterprises with KAMAZ. Thus, high level of local content is maintained and international level of quality is achieved.

One more reader was interested in the fate of hockey club “Ak Bars”. Rustam Minnikhanov reminded that the club has good school which nurtures talented players. Therefore, the team has future.
