Rustam Minnikhanov reports to the Russian President on social and economic situation in Tatarstan

President of Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev has held a working meeting with the Tatarstan leader Rustam Minnikhanov (Moscow area, Gorki).

Rustam Minnikhanov informed the Russian President about work of industrial and innovative clusters in republic.

According to the official website of the Russian President (http://президент.рф), Dmitry Medvedev and Rustam Minnikhanov discussed social-economic situation in Tatarstan.

Rustam Minnikhanov made a detailed report on work of industrial and innovative clusters in Tatarstan. He believes that the innovative cluster is developing more efficiently.

“98 electronic services are rendered in republic. 10 mln and 500 thousand appeals were processed last year. Main services are granted by civil registry authorities, payment of fines for violation of traffic rules, and electronic queue for kindergartens,” he informed.

Rustam Minnikhanov also told that 28 thousand users of the system of electronic documents circulation were registered in republic. The system involves all levels, from republican to regional and municipal. Specialists also developed the program for tablet computers for working with electronic digital signature.

“We are efficiently working with GLONASS. Emergency vehicles, urban transport, school buses are equipped with receivers of this satellite system. It enables controlling routes and traffic schedule,” Rustam Minnikhanov informed.

Speaking about high technology park IT-park (Kazan) the RT President said that its area is now completely occupied. “Last year proceeds made 2 bln 600 mln and in 2012 it is expected to make 4 bln,” he said.

Head of Tatarstan told about perspective project of Innopolis meant to be constructed close to Kazan.

Rustam Minnikhanov told as well about activity of Kama innovative cluster.
