Rustam Minnikhanov arrives in Turkey with official visit

The Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has arrived in the Turkish Republic with a two-day official visit. Head of Tatarstan is going to visit Ankara and Istanbul.
The Tatarstan delegation is comprised of the Director of the Department on external relations under the RT President – Aide to RT President Iskander Muflikhanov, Tatarstan Minister of culture Airat Sibagatullin, Chairman of RT State Council Committee on culture, education and national issues Razil Valeev, Chairman of the Executive committee of the World Congress of Tatars Rinat Zakirov.
The itinerary of official visit of Rustam Minnikhanov to the Turkish Republic includes a meeting with President of Turkey Abdullah Gul, Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and several ministers of the Turkish Republic.
The RT President also intends to meet with Secretary General of the International organization of Turkic culture TURKSOY Dusen Kaseinov, take part in the Tatarstan-Turkish Trade-investment forum, opening of the Gabdulla Tukay monument in Istanbul and Sabantui holiday.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
