RF Minister of agriculture Nikolay Fyodorov acquaints with project of Agro-industrial park in Kazan

RF Minister of agriculture Nikolay Fyodorov has acquainted with the project of Agro-industrial park. Head of the RF Ministry of agriculture was accompanied by RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and RT Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of agriculture and foodstuff Marat Akhmetov.
Deputy Chief of the Main investment – construction department Oleg Vlasov presented the project of Agro-industrial park being now under construction in Kazan.
Construction of the object is implemented near the Equestrian centre “Kazan”. The Agro-industrial park will occupy the area of 8 hectares. Oleg Vlasov informed that agricultural producers will bring their produce here and sell it to citizens at a favorable price. Sales points, storage premises, produce processing area, hotel, café, and offices will be located on the territory of Agro-industrial park.
According to Oleg Vlasov, the project costs 1,7 bln roubles .
Nikolay Fyodorov appreciated future Agro-industrial park. To the point, he arrived in Kazan on May 29 with a three-day visit. The itinerary includes participation in the Ministerial meeting on issues of food safety held on May 30-31within the confines of Russia’s chairmanship in APEC forum.

On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
