Rustam Minnikhanov meets with children undergoing medical treatment at oncohematological department of Children’s Republican Clinical Hospital on the Children’s Day

President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has met with children undergoing medical treatment at the oncohematological department of the Children’s Republican Clinical Hospital in Kazan.

The meeting was held within the framework of the international Children’s Day - June, 1. The excursion around the Kazan Kremlin with visiting Kul Sharif, the Annunciation Cathedral, Suyumbike Tower was organized for children.

Rustam Minnikhanov joined the excursion at the sightseeing platform close to the Governor’s Palace. He spoke to the children on various topics, asked about their interests and what do they know about Kazan.

Later on, Head of republic invited everyone to visit the Governor’s Palace, the official residence of the Tatarstan President. The White hall where awarding ceremonies are traditionally held, the Fireplace hall, and the working room of the Tatarstan President were shown to the children.

Rustam Minnikhanov told about his working day and people he receives at the Governor’s Palace.

During the excursion children made pictures with Rustam Minnikhanov and asked different questions.

Rustam Minnikhanov granted gifts to the guests – electronic books and photo albums about museum-reserve “The Kazan Kremlin”. He also gave assignment to the Aide to RT President on social issues Tatiana Larionova and Head of the department of Presidential affairs Muslikh Sitdikov on granting presents to all children undergoing medical treatment at oncohematological department of the Children’s Republican Clinical Hospital in connection with the international Children’s Day.

Rustam Minnikhanov wished his guests quick recovery. Later on, they went to a festive tea-party to the Kremlin café, and the President went to the video conference with Moscow where children’s republican team takes part in III World children’s Games of winners (May, 31 – June, 2), - the unique sport competitions for children who overcame cancer.
